ABSTRACT : Globalization can be understood as 'the integration of the globe' or the integration of the world. The roots of the phenomenon of globalization has existed in mankind's life since the time of the emergence of an empire. Its existence is supporteed by four important pillars as a driving machine, namely : empire/kingdom, religion, economy and technology. Globalization has two serious impacts, namely opportunities and threats, on a nation, so that each nation should be able to work around this.
