ABSTRACT : Islam is a religion of liberator. It is a liberator of pseudo-belief in many gods into a single belief, e.i. monotheism and of the power of oppressive social structures. Al- Qur'an is a book of liberation, justice, equality, and respect for plurality. As a book of liberation, the Qur'an does not just talk about how the oppressed and the poor are to organize themselves to fight over the unequal and unfair power structure. This paper attempts to view the resistance of the oppressed in the Qur'an.
